Past Projects
Project 1
Pond Enlargement
We helped this client with a pond enlargement project. The owner had attempted to dig with a mini excavator but was unable to reach a depth or size he was happy with. We were able to enlarge the existing pond in both depth and coverage area, and dig a second adjacent pond. Ultimately, we removed part of the levee between the two, and a bridge was built over the area connecting them.
Project 2
Land Clearing
We helped this client with land clearing so that they could prepare for future farm tree operations. We removed brush and saplings, resulting in a cleared site.
Project 3
Site Prep
We helped the client prepare for home building through land clearing and site prep. We cleared the land to import shale to build a pad for a home we built for the client. We removed and piled multiple trees, removed the remaining topsoil, and then imported and compacted around 30 loads of shale to create a strong base for a home to be built on.
Project 4
Farm Cleanup
We helped this client with professional farm cleanup. Over the years, they had accumulated multiple old tires, various pieces of farm equipment, and an old house, which we dismantled.
We also removed old, dilapidated chicken houses, barns, and the thick trees and brush that had grown up around them. We were able to sell the tin and metal from the barns to a metal recycler, which saved us from having to handle the material on-site.
As a result, we were able to clear the property to better serve the owners.
Project 5
Fence Clearing
We helped this client with a large and overgrown fence line. We carefully cleared the overgrown foliage, resulting in a clean, clear fence line.
Project 6
Land Cleanup
We helped the client with a field that had become severely overgrown after 5 years of neglect. Our team came out and diligently cleared the field, leaving a smooth, ready-for-use space.
Project 7
Driveway Build
We built a driveway over poor soil conditions for a new home build. We utilized geotextile fabric instead of undercutting due to soil and moisture issues. As a result, we were able to save the customer money in extra material costs. Geotextile fabric is a woven product that helps with weight distribution as vehicles move over the driveway. It also helps to prevent mixing of the base aggregate with the native soils below what we are building. It's popular for use on driveways that are built over heavy clay soils, especially moist clay soils.
